I call this 8qt my chili pot. Boiled chicken, pasta, made a vegetable beef stew in it too. We've only had our Swiss Diamond for a month or so but not having to "prep" it like I did the old stainless is really nice. The food and food smells just do not stick. Simple clean up with hot water and soap, no having to soak overnight with this cookware.
Bought it for the bride for Xmas. She says its the best pot she's ever had! Cooks faster, more even and cleans easy. So I guess its worth the extra moola!
My wife loves Swiss Diamond but this induction pot is slow to heat!
