Imagine cooking your breakfast overnight and it is ready by morning. In this overnight apple pie steel cut oat recipe, in just a few minutes you will have a filling breakfast that will have you going all day. Steel cut oats are coarsely chopped and contain a lower glycemic index. The glycemic index predicts how much a person's blood sugar will spike after eating a certain meal so this recipe is also a good match for a diabetic or someone who would like to watch their sugar intake.
