Limes, sugar, water, sweetened condensed milk. Easy lemonade, right? Before you start writing us telling us that this lemonade is made with limes, we know! The ingredients are simple, taking just a few minutes to blend; we thought this would be the perfect recipe for National Lemonade Day (May 1st). As the temps warm up, sit back, relax and take a sip from this perfect summer time treat.
In a Swiss Diamond saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat. Stir until completely dissolved. Allow to cool. (This is a simple syrup and can be done in advance.)
In a food processor, (or blender) pulse limes, sweetened condensed milk, and 2 cups simple syrup as you can until everything is combined.
Pour the liquid through a strainer to remove the chunks of limes. Pour the remaining simple syrup through the strainer to remove any sugar or pulp that was left behind.
Stir and serve immediately over crushed ice with lime slices and mint sprigs.
