Do you have “PFOA” in your “PTFE”?
No! Since March 2008, we have been using PTFE that is manufctured without any PFOA.
However, even if you purchased your Swiss Diamond cookware before 2008, it is still safe: the nonstick coating requires such high temperatures in the production process that any particle of PFOA which might have been contained in the PTFE was eliminated. Test results from the Danish Technological Institute clearly confirm that Swiss Diamond products produced before 2008 do not include PFOA.
