Description

Today we're celebrating National Pizza Day! We love using our XD Double Burner Griddle in the oven for an easy nonstick and evenly cooked meal. Adding fresh ingredients to pizza is a great way to change up an ordinary dish. Enjoy this sheet pan style pizza, perfect to feed a crowd. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. pizza dough
  • 1 lb. uncooked pork sausage, cut up
  • 4 oz of mushrooms (optional)
  • 2 oz of pepperoni
  • 1/2 Cup tomato sauce
  • 3 Cup of mozzerella (or mozzerella and parmesan mix)
  • Grated parmesan cheese

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Press pizza dough into the Double Burner Griddle to rest. Set aside. Preheat oven to 450°F

  2. Perforate the dough with a fork so that air can escape during baking. 

  3. Prepare toppings. Brown sausage in 9.5" Fry Pan along with any watery vegetables (like the mushrooms). 

  4. Top pizza with tomato sauce, cheese (we recommend a mozzerella and parmesan blend) and toppings.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 450°F
  6. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
