Description

Nothing brings back fond childhood memories as something as classic as pork chops and applesauce, but this isn’t your grandma’s recipe. What sets this apart is the perfect blend of herbs and buttery richness. So the next time you want something cozy and filling for dinner, try this modern take on a dinnertime classic.

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp thyme
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp thyme
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 2, 4" rosemary sprigs
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 pork chops, 1" thick
  • applesauce of your choice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir the melted butter and herbs together.
  4. In your 12.5" (32cm) XD Induction Fry Pan, sear the chops on both sides until they have a golden crust.
  5. Coat your pork chops with the butter mixture. Bake the pork chops in the pan for 10 - 15 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F in the thickest part.
