Homemade Dog Treats

We're celebrating National Mutt Day with something new this year! Its always special to bake for those you care about, pets included! Simple ingredients like natural peanutbutter and milk make this recipe easy to whip up on a whim. We hope your furry friends enjoy these treats as much as ours do!

Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Yield: 18 Dog Biscuits
Difficulty: Easy


2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup unsalted natural peanut butter
1 cup skim milk


  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C.) Grease a cookie sheet, or use our HD Classic Double Burner Griddle in the oven.

  2. Mix together flour and baking powder, set aside. In a medium sized bowl mix together peanutbutter and milk. 
  3. Slowly stir in flour mixture until it is well blended.
  4. Lightly flour surface for dough. Knead until smooth.
  5. With a cookie cutter or knife, cut out dog bone (or any preferred) shapes. Place two inches apart on cookie sheet or griddle
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Let cool before serving to furry friends!
