While the flavor may not be new and exciting, the presentation is sure to have the kids in your life (and some adults) ready to help make and eat this fun meal.  Perfect for your Pinterest board, these are an easy way to bring a bit of Halloween cheer to a normal evening in the kitchen.

Yield: 6 Mini Pizzas

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 English muffins, halved
  • 1/2 cup prepared marinara sauce
  • 4oz. peperoni, sliced
  • 12 slices of black olives
  • 6 1oz. slices of mozzarella cut into strips

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place English muffins cut side up on a Swiss Diamond Griddle.
  3. Spread enough marinara sauce to cover the muffins, but not enough to pile up and pour off.
  4. Place 3 pepperoni slices evenly on each muffin.
  5. Place 2 olive slices next to each other to resemble eyes on the muffin.
  6. Top with 1 slice worth of mozzarella strips in a crisscross pattern, to look like mummy wrapping.
  7. Bake mini pizzas for 8 – 10 minutes, or until cheese is melty, but not brown.
