Spring Fruit and Rice Cereal Treat Kabobs

Rice Cereal Treats are sweet but not too terribly decadent. When you pair them with healthy, brightly colored fruit they're pretty much guilt-free!

Some of the best desserts are the things you remember from your childhood.  Those simple things your Mom made that came together quickly from a few ingredients and were as fun to make as they were to eat.  These Spring Fruit and Rice Cereal Treat Kabobs are a lot like that.

Back in the ’70s and '80s, cereal treats weren’t typically paired with fruit but we’re a bit older and wiser now when it comes to nutritious snacks. This recipe takes those sweet cereal treats you remember, portions them perfectly and pairs them with a serving of fruit.

The presentation is as kid-friendly as it gets – ideal for any spring celebration.  Give these a try for your next family get-together.  Both the kids and adults will be happy you did.
