About Our Cookware

What makes Swiss Diamond's nonstick coating different from other brands?

Our nonstick coating contains up to 200,000 real diamond crystals per pan, embedded in a nano-composite formula developed and manufactured entirely in-house at our laboratory in Sierre, Switzerland. Diamond is one of the hardest natural materials on earth, which gives our coating exceptional durability and heat conductivity. In internal lab abrasion tests, our XD coating lasted 12 times longer than 3-layer nonstick, 24 times longer than ceramic nonstick, and 48 times longer than standard 2-layer nonstick coatings.

Does Swiss Diamond cookware contain PFOA or Teflon?

Our cookware does not contain PFOA, and this has been independently verified by the Danish Technological Institute. It also does not contain Teflon, which is a trademarked product of DuPont. Our Classic and Induction lines (XD and HD) do use PTFE, the compound responsible for nonstick performance. If you prefer a completely PFAS-free option, our CXD and CHD lines use a dual-layer DOU Ceramic coating that is both PTFE-free and PFAS-free.

Will Swiss Diamond cookware work on my induction cooktop?

Not all of our lines are induction-compatible. Standard cast aluminum is not magnetic, so our Classic line will not work on induction. Our CXD ceramic line is fully induction-ready, and select pieces in the XD+ line are also induction-compatible. The CHD line features the same DOU Ceramic coating but is designed specifically for non-induction cooktops. Check the product description to confirm compatibility before purchasing.

Where is Swiss Diamond cookware manufactured?

Every piece of Swiss Diamond cookware is made in Switzerland, where we have been crafting premium cookware since 1974. Our R&D and production are managed entirely in-house at the HORT Coating Center SA facility in Sierre. We have never outsourced our manufacturing. Our cast aluminum bodies are pressure-cast from 100% recycled aluminum, and our facility is powered by hydroelectric energy.

What is the difference between the XD+, CXD, and CHD product lines?

The XD+ line uses our signature diamond-reinforced PTFE-based nonstick coating, with select pieces available in induction-ready versions. The CXD and CHD lines both feature our DOU Ceramic nonstick coating, which is completely PFAS-free and PTFE-free. The key difference between the two ceramic lines is cooktop compatibility: CXD is induction-ready, while CHD is built for gas, electric, and other non-induction cooktops.

Use And Care

Is Swiss Diamond cookware oven-safe?

Yes. All Swiss Diamond cookware, including lids and ergonomic handles, is oven-safe up to 500°F (260°C). This applies across all product lines, so you can move confidently from stovetop to oven without swapping pans.

Can I put Swiss Diamond pans in the dishwasher?

Technically, yes. Our cookware is dishwasher safe. However, we strongly recommend hand washing because harsh dishwasher detergents and high heat cycles can reduce nonstick performance over time. A quick wash with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge will keep your pan performing at its best for years.

Do I need to use oil or butter when cooking with Swiss Diamond?

Our cookware is designed for oil-free cooking, so you can cook without any added fat if you prefer. If you do use oil or butter, keep the heat at low to medium. One important note: never use nonstick cooking sprays, as they leave a residue that permanently adheres to the surface and degrades nonstick performance.

Can I modify or cancel after it has been placed?

Are there return shipping fees?

Warranty

What is your warranty policy?

We stand behind the quality of our products Our Classic and Induction cookware lines (XD and HD coatings) carry a limited lifetime warranty that covers manufacturing defects. Tools, knives, and accessories carry a 1-year warranty. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, overheating, accidents, commercial use, stains, discoloration, scratches, or dents. Glass lids and handles are excluded from all warranty coverage. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and ensures that our customers receive items free from defects in materials and workmanship.

How do I register my product for warranty coverage?

What is not covered under the warranty?

While our warranty is comprehensive, there are certain situations not covered. The warranty does not extend to damages caused by misuse, accidents, modifications, or unauthorized repairs.
