Update to my previous review

"In response to the company’s comment on my previous review: I went ahead and filed the warranty claim, as requested, including photos. The response was that this is not covered under the warranty and I was provided another link for a video on how to clean a pan. I stand by my 3 star product review but maybe look into your warranty policy before suggesting you can ‘make it right’. To be clear, I like the pot and use it often. I have other Swiss Diamond pans that are flawless. This one is rusting though."

Worth the cost…?

"I love the pot and use it often for pasta, steaming vegetables, and boiling pretty much anything. It works great but I will say that when the water heats up, the lid bobbles and water spits out the sides and makes a mess, without fail every time - even on low heat. I can live with that but my biggest complaint is that the rims of the pot and the strainer have started rusting. I’ve had it for 2 years. I reached out to the company, asking why this might have happened and how I can prevent it from happening to my other pans, since I’ve always handled and cleaned them as recommended. They responded with a link for a video on how to clean rust off of a pan. Not super helpful."

"Functional, excellent design. Seems to be made well, however there are several prompt 65 warnings! I'm debating returning as it is NOT made in Switzerland"

Beautiful Pasta Pot

"I love this Swiss Diamond pasta pot! It is quite beautiful and incredibly constructed. I particularly like how substantially weighted the bottom of the pot is, the great glass lid, and the depth of the upper steamer basket. I have always been a All Clad fan, but this purchase has swayed me to purchase more Swiss Diamond cookware. You can’t go wrong here at this wonderful price point!"

Not Swiss made...

"I was looking for a pasta pot for quite awhile. Although it's a very simple pot - nothing sophisticated - but with some brands it is very pricey, i.e. Le Creuset. I liked the price offered by Swiss Diamond for the pot I had bought but the quality of the product is dubious: I left the water in the pot overnight and next day I found something resembling rust on the rim. It took me some time to clean it and I am not sure that next time it will not resurface. This is very characteristic of products made in a certain country which is well known to all. It looks shiny and attractive at first glance but with time it demonstrates the underrated quality. I am using it quite often these days to see whether it is worth keeping."

"Always cooked pasta the old way. Made a mess while draining and lost pasta during the process. This pasta cooker is well made and easy to use. Steamer is equally convenient and has plenty of room for all your vegetables. Very happy with my purchase"
