I BOILED FRESH GREEN BEANS - IT LEFT A RESIDUE ABOVE THE WATER LINE AND IT DOES NOT COME OFF WITH A SOAPY SPONGE AND ELBOW PRESSURE. TRIED REPEATEDLY.

I purchased the Swiss Diamond line in 2008, including the very large soup pot. That large pot is great but too big for everyday cooking, so I purchased this smaller size more recently for Mac and cheese, etc - to replace a stainless steel pot that was very difficult to clean - probably the best purchase I have ever made. Absolutely nothing - including cheese in casseroles and soups - sticks to this pot. Even leaving my previous stainless steel pot soaking overnight didn't work - I always woke up in the morning to a difficult scrub. This pot just washes out immediately - no problem - great work saver and stress reliever - absolutely love it!

My first experience with the 5.5 qt Swiss Diamond pot was great! I sauted beef, added water and vegetables, simmered and served. The pot was perfectly heated, held a simmer well, poured well and cleaned with ease. Storage size with its inverted lid makes it handy to access. It does what ALL pots should do.

This pot is so versatile for soups, pot roasts and large quantities of starches or veggies all cooked in even heating and nonstick Pot. Have replaced all our pots w Swiss Diamond over time, so happy!

Great cookware!

A size that I really needed and such great quality. This is my first piece of the upgraded version, which actually is more nonstick and even looks different. Still love my initial set bought in 2008 too.

What is super nice about the Swiss Diamond cookware is that it is coated on all sides but the bottom so it never gets a stained look! It always looks new! Oh, and it cooks great and is easy to clean!

All of my Swiss diamond pieces are great. They last forever. We had a store in town that carried them so it was easy to look at all the pieces. They have heaver bottoms for good heat distribution., I never need high heat with them. I love them!

I bought this to replace the one I had that was around 4 years old. The finish on the new ones seems to be improved. It’s a great size pot for cooking soups, stews and boiling water for pasta.

Heads of cauliflower cook great in this pot! Also great for batches of soup and sauces

I love this soup pot. It’s a perfect size for my needs, beautifully made, and the only nonstick finish that seemingly lasts forever. All other types are supposedly nonstick, but only for a few months even with careful use. I’m gradually replacing all my cookware with Swiss Diamond products. Strongly recommend them.

Excellent pot and great surface. This is my 2nd pot and the surface seems more substantial (and I got over 7 years from its older cousin).

I bought this stock pot two years ago and I love it. It turned out to be the exact pot I've been looking to buy for a while. In spite its size, it is light and can be easily handled on the stove. Its thick walls provide excellent heat retention and it's good for stewing. I strongly recommend it.
