Apple Pork Burgers
In this apple week recipe, burgers are dressed up with pork, diced apples, cinnamon and a touch of maple. This Fall favorite is one that you will have to make again because one time will not be enough. Alone, Americans consume approximately 50 billion burgers a year, and the typical American eats a hamburger 3 times a week, so add this pork burger into your weekly rotation. Also, an interesting fact about burgers is that during World War 1 they were referred to as Liberty Sandwiches.
