Disappointed with this Clad line

"The stainless steel is not good quality - it discolors easily and I am using it on an induction cooktop and follow all the directions - does not shine up with barkeepers mate like my other high quality stainless. I was really worried about purchasing these as they are made in china and lo and behold NOT the same amazing quality as the Swiss Diamond made in Europe. Also they company confirmed that these have teh XD coating but it does not appear to be the same as my other XD items made in Europe. I am worried that these materials may not be safe so I will be retuning them, The sad thing is that they work much better on my Cafe induction cook top which can be picky about the bottom surface - the other induction items I use from SD with the 'discs" have to match the cook top size so a bit more restrictive these work much better - I just feel like the quality of the materials is no where near as good as items made in Europe. I really wish they made these in Europe then this would likely be a five star rating. I have been a Swiss Diamond fan for years and converted others as well. Really bummed about this experience."

"I’m very happy with the stockpot. It’s a good size for soup or pasta and I know it will clean up easily because I have other Swiss diamond that I’ve had for many years. It’s not too heavy, which is important for us older cooks. And I like glass lids so I can see what’s going on."
