Our CXD, CHD, XD and HD cookware is made at our own facility in Sierre, in the Valais region of Switzerland. Here is what that covers, and how each line is built.

Which lines are made in Sierre

  • CXD Ceramic: our flagship ceramic line, for every cooktop, including induction.
  • CHD Ceramic: the same ceramic coating as CXD, for gas and electric cooktops (not induction).
  • XD Nonstick: diamond-reinforced nonstick, in standard and induction versions.
  • HD Nonstick, including HD Pro: diamond-reinforced nonstick, in standard and induction versions.

Our Nonstick Clad, Premium Clad and Premium Steel DLX lines are not made in Switzerland. Each product page names its line.

How Sierre-made cookware is built

Pressure-cast aluminum body. The body of each pan is cast from aluminum, a material chosen for how quickly and evenly it spreads heat across the cooking surface.

Coating applied in Sierre. The nonstick coating is applied at the same facility where the body is cast.

  • CXD and CHD use a dual-layer ceramic coating made without added PFAS/PTFE: a plasma-hardened base layer under a diamond-infused ceramic topcoat.
  • XD and HD use a diamond-reinforced, PTFE-based nonstick coating made without PFOA.

Recycled aluminum and hydroelectric power. According to manufacturer documentation, the Sierre facility uses recycled aluminum and runs on hydroelectric power.

Which one is right for you?
