HD Nonstick Braiser with Glass Lid | Made in Switzerland

I have used All Clad pans for 25 years but also own several GreenPans to use when the need arises for nonstick, I usually have to replace those about every 16 months due to scratching because who knows what toxins are leaching into the food once that happens. I'd all but given up thinking there would ever be another nonstick option until I stumbled upon the Swiss Diamond brand when reviewing large nonstick pots on Amazon. I came directly to Swiss Diamond's website to learn more and direct ordered the HD 5.8 qt. saute pan with stainless steel handle. I received it within days but knew as soon as I took it out of the packaging that it wouldn't fit (due to total length with the handle) in my newly renovated kitchen "drawers". Customer service was awesome and I was able to return the pan without a problem. In it's place I odered the slightly smaller HD 5.3 qt. Braiser. OMG, I am in love with this pan. I have braised meats, including a roast and small chicken, and made one pot soups to perfection. It's actually on the stove top more than it's in the drawer. I don't know how I lived without it all of these years. Now I'm contemplating getting the the larger 7.2 qt. Braiser and would definitely get a roaster once it's available in a larger size than the currently available 5.3 qt. (HINT, HINT). Time will tell how durable the diamond finish is but at these price points, I'm hoping it's a very long time. All foods, even cheesy stuff glides right off of the finish. It's a breeze to wash so I would never put it in the dishwasher. Love it!
