Everyone deserves a treat occasionally! This recipe is perfect anytime you need a quick treat to serve at a party or to give as a gift, and you’ll be amazed at just how simple it is to make using one of our 8.5qt (8L) XD Nonstick Stock Pots.
3 Cups (720 ml) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz/414 ml) sweetened condensed milk
1½ tsp (7 ml) vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1 Cup (240 ml) chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Line an 8" square baking dish with parchment paper and then butter both the parchment and dish.
In your Swiss Diamond 2.2 qt (2.1L) XD Saucepan, stir together the chocolate chips, condensed milk and salt while continuing to stir over low heat until chocolate chips have melted.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla and nuts. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Let chill for approximately 2 hours or until set. Lift from the pan then cut into squares.
