Frequently Asked Questions

Is the XD nonstick coating PFOA-free?

Yes. Swiss Diamond's XD coating is PFOA-free, independently verified by the Danish Technological Institute. It is a PTFE-based nonstick reinforced with real diamond crystals for durability and easy release. If you prefer a PTFE-free, PFAS-free option, see our CXD and CHD DOU Ceramic lines.

Does every piece in this set work on induction cooktops?

Every piece in this set is designed for gas, electric, and ceramic cooktops and is not induction-compatible. Swiss Diamond offers induction versions of most XD pieces; look for "Induction" in the product name.

Is every piece in this set oven-safe?

Yes. Every piece in this set, including the glass lids and handles, is oven-safe up to 500°F (260°C).

Do I need oil or butter when cooking?

No. The diamond-reinforced XD coating is designed for oil-free cooking. If you do use oil or butter, keep the heat at low to medium, and never use aerosol nonstick cooking sprays, which build up on the surface.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?

It is dishwasher safe, but hand washing with warm, soapy water is strongly recommended to preserve nonstick performance over the long term.

Is Swiss Diamond cookware really made in Switzerland?

Yes. Every Swiss Diamond pan is made in Switzerland at our facility in Sierre, where we have manufactured since 1974 and have never outsourced production. The cast aluminum body is pressure-cast from 100% recycled aluminum.

Customers praised this nonstick cookware set as "the best wok I've ever had" with exceptional quality and "easy clean up." The 8" pan "fits three eggs perfectly" for daily use. While shoppers loved the cooking performance and craftsmanship, some reported missing accessories (wok rack) and one customer experienced handle leaking issues with poor warranty service.

Excellent products

This is the best wok I've ever had, and the 8" pan is also great. The more Swiss Diamond products I have (four at this point), the more I want to get!

Love it!

After much research my husband purchased new Swiss Diamond for my 40th anniversary gift ( I’m not much into jewelry anymore) and I loved the set. So ordered the wok and 8” fry pan to add to the set. Wok is wonderful to stir fry in and clean up is so easy. The 8” fry pan is used everyday and fit three eggs perfectly! Have also purchased Swiss Diamond for gifts to my children!

I really like the wok and small pan. Not much smoke when I stir fry. The wok is hot and get job done.

Leak at the handles, warranty service was awful

It’s clear defect products and you wouldn’t admit it. The handles leak puddle of water on my stove. I had to pay shipping fee to return which costs a lot. So I had to keep it. I Would never buy anything from this company again!

You ain't lying!

About 5 yes ago my brother, who lives in San Diego, gave me a 7" frying pan from Swiss Diamond. The only thing he said was 'best pans I've ever used, but cost is way up there. I have used my little pan so often and love it. Saw this major sale so I snapped it up right away!
