This is a great item even though I kind of bought the wrong pan! I was in the market for a traditional frying pan but purchased this lidded item to protect the surface and to get something that I could steam/poach eggs with; works great for that! It's also great for stir fries. However, if you are looking for a frying pan, don't get distracted; just buy the frying pan. :) Or both!

This frying pan provides equal heat in all areas of the pan and this aides in wonderful cooking

I don’t cook a lot but when I do I use my skillets. I really like them. They clean up really easily.

I am so impressed with my new Swiss Diamond pan!! You can see and feel the quality. I only use a tiny amount of oil and onions cook up beautifully. I am looking forward to many years of cooking and plan to buy more of these pots and pans!!

For older folks it's a bite heavy.

Should include weight in the information section of all pans.
