Crafted to last, Swiss Diamond cookware is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects. Simply follow the recommended Use & Care Instructions, and if a qualifying defect is found, we'll repair or replace your cookware. Normal wear, misuse, overheating, and accidental damage are not covered.

Is the XD nonstick coating PFOA-free?

Yes. Swiss Diamond's XD coating is PFOA-free, independently verified by the Danish Technological Institute. It is a PTFE-based nonstick reinforced with real diamond crystals for durability and easy release. If you prefer a PTFE-free, PFAS-free option, see our CXD and CHD DOU Ceramic lines.

Does this cookware work on induction cooktops?

Yes. This cookware has a magnetic base and works on induction, as well as gas, electric, and ceramic cooktops.

Is this cookware oven-safe?

Yes. The pan and handle are oven-safe up to 500°F (260°C).

Do I need oil or butter when cooking?

No. The diamond-reinforced XD coating is designed for oil-free cooking. If you do use oil or butter, keep the heat at low to medium, and never use aerosol nonstick cooking sprays, which build up on the surface.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?

It is dishwasher safe, but hand washing with warm, soapy water is strongly recommended to preserve nonstick performance over the long term.

Is Swiss Diamond cookware really made in Switzerland?

Yes. Every Swiss Diamond pan is made in Switzerland at our facility in Sierre, where we have manufactured since 1974 and have never outsourced production. The cast aluminum body is pressure-cast from 100% recycled aluminum.

Great for Pancakes and More!

Love this pan! I bought this pan to make pancakes and heat up tortillas. It does and excellent job! The quality of how the pan is made is worth the price! I am sure I will have this pan for a lifetime! I love it so much I am goy to buy another one.

Flawless crepes

It took me a minute or two to figure it out, but after the first crepe all the next ones were PERFECT. My first dedicated crepe pan proved itself to be worth the price. I love the shape, which makes the crepes just SLIDE off the pan onto the plate. I will definitely try it with pancakes and omelets too. It heats evenly, no hot spots. I have just a smooth top electric stove, no induction, so buying the pan made for induction stoves was an overkill, but I am so happy with the pan's performance that I don't regret spending the extra money.

What happened to quality control

On side of this pan is higher than the other side.

Barbara, Thanks for your concern. This pan is designed with one higher side than the other. This is to help you remove the crepe smoothly from one side (the lower side) and to help you start to roll from the top (the higher side).

Egg Pan

I like fried eggs for breakfast. This pan is the right size for a couple eggs and the very low sides makes it easy to get a spatula under the eggs for flipping them.

My husband bought this ... he loves it!!! He wanted a good nonstick pan to cook pancakes on so he didn't have to use all that oil. Wish I had known about Swiss Diamond sooner! The sloping sides are a great feature! This is a quality pan! So easy to clean! I think it will work well for grilled cheese sandwiches, I may try an omelet too!
